Well today is my sweet Nana's birthday. I want to wish her a very Happy Birthday and I hope you've had a great day! Here is a description of what a Nana is to me...
What is a Nana?
A Nana is warm hugs and sweet memories. She remembers all of your accomplishment and forgets all your mistakes. She is someone you can tell your secrets and worries to, and she hopes and prays that all your dreams come true. She will always loves you, no matter what. She can see past temper tantrums and bad moods, and makes it clear that they don't affect how precious you are to her. She is an encouraging word and a tender touch. She is full of proud smiles. She is the one person in the world who loves you with all her heart, who remembers the child you were and cherishes the person you've become.

Hey, I like the picture of me. Not too bad for a 66 year "young" woman! Your "What is a Nana?" made tears come to my eyes. A person always wonders if they are really being a good Nan or not. I try, but sometimes I don't think I do enough. Your Mom and Dad and I were talking as I looked at your blog and we all agreed that you have quite a way with words!
